In this time of uncertainty around the concerns of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), the safety and well-being of our clients, staff and community are our top priority. Cleaning and disinfecting have become a priority for everyone, and we understand your concerns regarding the pandemic.
Maid Clean Services will be supporting our customers while working within the Federal and Provincial government frameworks that are updated regularly as the situation progresses. We continue to take full advantage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to ensure a continually controlled and safe environment for you and our teams.
What can you, as a client, do to help?
First, Maid Clean Services extends a warm thank-you for your ongoing support in these unprecedented and challenging times. Your cooperation and understanding to additional and often fluid requirements and restrictions is most appreciated.
To help us accommodate proper planning and resource management, we are currently requesting 72-hour advance notice for rescheduled cleaning and two-weeks prior written notice by letter or email for service cancellations.
Should any information on your pre-screening change, you must contact Maid Clean Services immediately at 416-886-4789 to discuss or cancel upcoming services. This includes recent travel outside Canada in the last 14-days, the presentation of COVID-19 symptoms and/or confirmation of a COVID-19 case or known contact with a confirmed case at the service location.
Information you need to know…
Our team of cleaning technicians have been trained in proper etiquette and safety to comply with Provincial and Regional orders and mandates. Technicians wash or sanitize their hands upon every visit and wear masks and shoe covers at all times. Further, they use gloves and wipe down all handles and high-touch areas of cleaning equipment and supplies every time.
Maid Clean Services is now cleaning for health and this is reflected in the new terminology, “cleaning and sanitizing” with our disinfectant solution in all of our cleaning packages and programs. Additionally, we have created an add-on service, “High Touch Surface Sanitizing”, focusing on sanitizing areas of high concern from handrails to the TV remote and killing COVID-19 and other seasonal viruses. To prevent cross-contamination, each of our clients has their own microfibre cloth bag with tools and mop-heads that is labelled for and used with that client only. Following each cleaning service all other equipment and buckets are fully sanitized to ensure both your safety as well as ours.

Our Cleaning Technicians
Team members are screened daily before any service visits in accordance with Public Health Ontario Guidelines and are not permitted to work if any of the required screening questions are positively answered.
Do you have new or worsening symptoms associated with COVID-19?
Have you travelled outside of Canada in the last 14-days?
Have you had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?
Any team member failing this screening will not be permitted to work. This may result in a change of schedule for the safety of everyone involved.
Additionally, we continually request that our technicians:
Stay home if they are sick or not feeling well
Frequently wash their hands with soap and water or sanitize with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer for at least 20-seconds
Avoid touching their eyes, nose or mouth and avoid contact with anyone who is sick, coughing or sneezing
Physically distance from others in public by staying at least six feet (2 metres) apart
